Frankly, whoever makes it, we need a replacement for CVR(T). Both vehicles are too expensive, overweight (I am told by people who are far more expert in these that neither will be cartable by an A400M, never mind a C130J) and will take too long to produce.
One will be mostly produced in Britain by an American company.
The other will be mostly produced in Britain by an American company that has never insulted us by taking the "British" out of its company name.
Get modern kit that works to the Light Cavalry as soon as is practical. Beyond that, I really can't summon up too much enthusiasm.
