This Week at Wootton Bassett

Old Rightie's post 'Out of the Mouths of Babes' has a link to a BBC video in which the children of Wootton Bassett give their opinions of war. Will anyone listen?

Thank you for the link, Subrosa. I suspect many are listening and those lovely kids sound more intelligent and understanding than the whole of this dreadful Government.

OR it's always a pleasure to link to you. The BBC said they'd put it online but I couldn't find it.

Anyway I think your post is strong, honest and true.

Thanks for this Subrosa, I've linked your post and also managed to find the school's video.

That's great Mrs Rigby. Will you be my personal google searcher? I looked several times for it but it goes to show how hopeless I am.

I would like to suggest you visit Mrs Rigby's to read her post:

Passing my local Police station the other day I was surprsed to see a large gathering of the great and the good plus various uniformed members of the Armed Forces standing to attention.

An informant later told me that this would have been to greet the onward repatriation of a casualty from Wooton Basset. Sadly kept discrete to avoid the attentions of both the EDF and Islamists.

Thanks for the link from mrsrigby

Thanks Subrosa.

I'm fairly good at using Google, but this time it didn't help because it doesn't come up with any hits for the title of the video, which is unusual. It really was a case of digging into the BBC site.

I expect their "School Report" list is ranked by popularity, which is why one about climate change is at the top, maybe we can get Wootton Bassett's to the top instead?

Good to know another part of the country is showing gratitude banned. Terrible these things have to be done discreetly isn't it.

I feel much better now Mrs R, because like you I did dig around although not in the BBC site just Youtube.

Let's hope we can get it a little further up the list anyway.
