I'll second that. It's not altogether easy to get a budget through when you are a minority government. I watched John this afternoon and felt pride that this was how our govermnent in our courtry dealt with this important matter.

I had the pleasure of congratulating John in his office last year. I do so again this year from a distance, but no less scincerely.

Aye he did well Tris. Will be interesting to know who abstained.

That's the way it's done Niko. Wheeling and dealing.

Actually Niko, the Herald's numbers are wrong. It was 45 against. I took the number from the live broadcast.

Yes well done John Swinney.

Looks like Labour were really throwing their train sets out of the pram today!

Hopefully that'll be the end of the Garl nonsense Strathturret. I'm sick of hearing about it.

Its a joke. Coming from the North by train you get to Queens St then have to walk/bus/taxi to Central Station and then climb aboard GARL to the Airport. With a few kids in tow you will drive to the Airport!

Glasgow's useless politicians have had a century to sort out the Queens St - Central link.

I've never tried it Strathturret, always drive to Paisley.

Even Glaswegians say it won't make much difference because the bus service is excellent.

It'd be like the Edinburgh tram saga if it went ahead.
