The 6 Nations

Scotland's Rory Lamont

Scotland plays Italy in Rome today in the third leg of the 6 Nations Rugby.

The kick off is 1.30pm and the BBC starts its broadcast at 1.00pm on BBC 1.

Now I must prepare a light lunch as I'm expecting stomach-churning excitement in this match plus, of course, a winning score.

Disappointing Scotland.

Anyone think there is a sense of unfairness in the choice of referees? Every match I've ever seen with an english speaking team has an english speaking ref. That can't be fair to Italy and France.

Poor game Strathturret and the result was correct. We missed far too many chances.

Never thought about the refs. Will have a look at the forums and see if there are others with your thought.

Perhaps a shot of ancestral Laphroaig is called for. In fact several shots. One of those days.

I'm rather tempted myself Demetrius. In fact I may just purchase a bottle of the Macallan when I'm out very shortly.

Auch CD, I've just had a couple of emails from well-oiled Italian friends. Gloating isn't the word really. I have no sympathy with their wellbeing in the morning. ;)

Lovely day here but cold. We've missed all the recent snow bar a few hours of it.

I don't think you've said you're half Irish Conan - more than a dozen times anyway. :)

Enjoy!
