A Little Westminster Insider Information

We're all aware how often Lord Mandelson or Gordon Brown pop up on the media and, like benevolent millionaires, inform us of their latest concession to us, the great unwashed.

The sharp-as-a-tack Lobbydog received an alert from the Tories yesterday. It seems all the grand announcements of schemes involving the DBIS (Department of Business, Innovation and Skills), HM Treasury and the banks, are more or less hot air and not performing well, if at all.

Surprised? No, neither am I.

Lobbydog has the details of the various funds/schemes/programmes which are failures. One of my questions is where has the money gone which was earmarked for these projects?

As a passionate admirer of all things feminine, I despair of the habit of such individuals being described as part of the fair sex's anatomy. In most cases I would prefer their orifice of choice being used to describe their character or lack of.

It's not just business schemes though is it ? Something similar was promised for struggling mortagage holders to little effect.
Still, never mind, just so long as Peter gets his elevation to Lord Apollo, Duke Of The Western Shore.

OR I'm not quite with you.

Aye banned, it's all the so-called schemes they devise. So many never even reach the start line.

They really have turned incompetence and dishonesty into a full time profession.

SR,

I watched the PBR yesterday and laughed, a while later Ed Balls finally got reemed on 5 Live and was greeting about it telling the EBC that they shouldn;t be political - the interviewer was only asking tough questions, last nights Drivetime.

Then later, on Sky News it delighted in exposing all the cuts hidden in the back of the PBR live on air - the worm has turned.....thought Osborne was value for money yesterday despite more Tory blustering!

I smell Independence getting closer.
