Is This Justice?

Do you remember seeing the above face splashed all over the headlines back in February last year? His name is Parviz Khan and he was jailed for life for planning to kidnap and kill a British Muslim soldier.

His accomplices Hamid Elasmar from Edgbaston, Zahoor Iqbal from Kingstanding and Mohammed Irfan from War End, all in the Birmingham area, were imprisoned less than two years ago. They had been jailed for between three and seven years after helping to plan the kidnap of the squaddie on Broad Street and behead him "like a pig" in a lock-up garage.

All three of Khan's three pals have now been released early for good behaviour and are back on the streets of Birmingham. Elasmar was jailed for three years and four months last February after pleading guilty to assisting the terror cell but he was freed after serving just five months and is now living on housing benefits in a flat near Edgbaston cricket ground. Despite his terror conviction, the Morocco-born extremist has not been deported as he has British National status gained when he married his English ex-wife.

Khan was jailed for life then given a sentence of 14 years. Going by the average of time his pals served he should be out in another 4 years at the most.

What is the point in imprisoning the guilty then releasing them when they've only served an eighth of their sentence as in the case of Elasmar? Is this justice?

HAMID ELASMAR Born in September 1963 in Casablanca AND HE SHOULD BE DEPORTED BACK THERE!

ZAHOOR IQBAL Born in Birmingham on 28 August 1977 FAMILY ROOTS IN PAKISTAN, SHOULD BE DEPORTED BACK THERE!

MOHAMMED IRFAN Mohammed Irfan was born on 14 December in 1976 in the same region of Pakistan as Parviz Khan - SHOULD BE DEPORTED BACK THERE!

Have they? No, instead the Police are now working hard to reach their targets by arresting 40's and over 50's age groups with illegal offences like motoring, smoking and rubbish misdeamenours...

You see Subrosa, we of those age groups still remember what life was like in a free and just Britain and they want to scare us into shutting up...

Well, its not going to work is it?

subrosa,

No doubt Iain Gray and Auntie Bella will be kicking up about this at FMQs. Yes, I know it's got nothing to do with the SNP but they will try and pin the blame on Kenny.

Drastic I know but still believing that the best justice is a brick wall and an AK47!

That should please the 'environmental lobby' who must surely applaud the saving of planet and cutting of CO2 by less air travel?

It's certainly not going to work Sue, but they'll up the anti, wait and see.

I won't be intimidated by anyone - these days are well over for me.

Of course they will Brownlie and they'll be saying Alex is too soft on crime.

Can't wait for Thursday - seems as if they've had a few months off doesn't it.

WfW, privately I think many would agree with you.

Hi SR
There is a 'wrongness' about this whole business. If this had been white anglosaxons in court; previous courts sentences would indicate 25+ years to life would be the result. Why the leniency?
It has been stated a few times now, that all terrorists are Islamists, if this is the case, why the leniency?
Maybe WfW is right, take no prisoners, because they don't!!

Slightly ot, but would the attitude of the Government to immigration and the EU be explained by ENGLAND having lost its sense of identity and is looking for one, while the immigrants certainly havent.(neither have the Scots).

Hi Apogee, I don't understand it either. What is going on? Are the present Westminster government so desperate to make England the den of iniquity of Europe? Seems like it with their attitude to these people.
