Perhaps it's just me, but Tony Blair looks (even without the back eye), as if he's aged 10 years since he left No 10.
Just goes to show how aging it is accumulating a multi-million pound portfolio.
If you would like to see the chummy photograph of Mandelson presenting Blair with a medal for 'being committed to India and to understanding the dramatic way in which India's place and role in the world has changed in the last 20 years' then it can be viewed here. I couldn't bring myself to putting it with this post.

I thought he looked OK. Don't you like him? I think him one of the most astute politicians. He would have achieved much more if it wasn't for your Scottish friend!
Pissht, Howard! (I think that's what our friends over the Border say!) Tony has lost a lot of weight - I think he might have developed bulimia(?)like Prescott. And you know how astute he was....
The clock is counting for blogs like this . . .
wv medox - yo, ho, ho . . .
It seems to be a little known fact to those of you of an English persuasion, but Blair was born in Scotland and mostly educated here. Two in a row, hello, hello!
I see what you mean about that photo - it's sickeningly self-satisfied and totally cringeworthy.
When I look in the mirror I can see how aging it is not accumulating a multi-million pound portfolio.
That's true DL, of Irish parents. In his childhood he spent time in Australia and also Durham from where he was sent to Fettes, Edinburgh.
Yes Howard he was an astute politician - we know that now, but wasn't it said that Blair was the public face and Brown the brains behind labour?
Now we know Brown was useless. I remember, when the Iraq war was declared, Brown was nowhere to be seen for a couple of weeks. He wouldn't say a word to anyone and I thought that strange.
Now we all know why ...
We usually say sheesh here Ted, good to see you :)
Right enough weight loss can age, that's why I never recommend it.
Good morning John, so that's why I look 20 years older than I feel. You've made my day!
Aye Barking Spider, it's also a warning not to change your religion.
It could be guilt, of course, that's ravaged him...
Oh.
No. This is Blair.
I'll try to be more sensible.
Aye Jim, the sun's getting to you I think.
