I Support Iain Dale

Iain Dale asked earlier if he should have questioned the PM's state of mind on live television when he was reviewing the papers on Sky last night.  Yes he should - we all should.

This afternoon I watched the ceremonies in Normandy and Gordon Brown's body language said a great deal.  I'm no medical person but I am, like many of you too I suspect, a people watcher.  Britain's Prime Minister looked so out of his depth and agitated it was uncomfortable viewing.  In fact he looked highly anxious, not the usual anxiety stress brings, but the type of anxiety that can involve a drop into clinical depression which can result in serious medical problems.  His 'Obama Beach' moment, when he didn't even realise what he'd said, confirmed my thoughts.

Much will be written about him in the Sundays and the fact that he was booed by veterans. They were quite right.  He ought to have ensured the Queen was invited, that is part of his job. Also if he had not hung around at the end of American ceremony just for the sake of a photo with Obama, he may well have been on time and not an hour late, for the British one.

I would like to think his behaviour was caused by guilt but I doubt that.  Guilt because initially he had no intention attending until he knew his pal Barack would be there. Guilt because Prince Charles was in close proximity for some considerable time and he performed his duty impeccably showing, like Obama, his caring side by talking with veterans. Guilt because he abuses our troops for his own ends. Guilt because he's aware the public think he's incompetent, which of course he is.  No, I doubt he feels guilt. Today he certainly exuded, through his agitation, an arrogance which is growing fast. Does that mean he really does believe his own lies?

Yes Iain, you and every person in the country should question the PM's health.

Update:  Perhaps it is the disclosure of this that is making him so troubled.

Excellent post! I obviously agree with you Sb!
I watched him closely all day today. Whenever heads of state were walking, he wasn't 'grouped' with anyone.
He appeared isolated . . .robotic . . .as you say, ill at ease. All of which made for excrutiating viewing.

Iain, like any and everybody else has the right to question his state of mind; simply because, his state of mind is questionable right now. He's supposed to be running the United Kingdom, for God's sake (such as it is these days!)

Glad you saw it too TP, but it was obvious wasn't it. There's something not at all right with the man. Do you think he's a meglomaniac or has such tendencies?

Do you think you need my comment?

No my dear OR, unless you wish to say you concur :)

You're absolutely on the money, Subrosa.

I suspect that in 5 years' time, when Gordon's just a bad memory, we'll all be asking each other "how did we allow the man to stay in power, when he was so obviously unwell?"

I think he has finally realised the game is up. I should have some pity for him but I've emptied my pockets and can't find any there. perhaps I might find something more suitable in leu on the sole of my shoe if I walk around outdoors for long enough.

This is one of the architects of the New Labour regime here. A warmonger, a stealth manipulator of public revenues, a dealer in lies, deceit and malfeasance whilst in public office. A Mr 10% tax con artist taking from 'poor hard working families whilst leaving his priviliged, fair weather pals and supporters and their loot practically untouched and to add insult to injury, bailing them out with our public funds to leave us and the country in penury till Christ knows when. A de-regulation genius which led to many pension fund being worth a fraction of their promise. Mr preditor of those same pension funds. Mr de valuer of our hard earned savings and curency.

Pity? Naw ah dinna think so.

I might have had a smidgeon of respect for the way of his going if he had held a general election last year. But he's a coward basically and his moral compass has been stuck up his @rse since forever.

...and that goes for the company he keeps and is titular heid of too.

We'll be thinking the same of the next cabal of cretins slotted into Westmidden given time too, I suppose.

Time we did a flitting from that discredited and dysfunctional,Westmidden whore house; lock, stock and barrel with the reserved powers dowery safely returned to the nation they were stolen from under threats, false pretence, bribery and deviousness.

Aye, ah'm richt scunnered with this worthless and discredited Westmidden, shotgun marrage.

...and the resulting sucession of disowned b@stards it has produced and nutured since what seems like time without end.

Morning CF, I did try to be kind to Gordon Brown, hope you noticed. :)

Tom I always enjoy your comments. When I was writing the post I did write something like 'I felt a little pity', then when reading it I knew that was a lie, so it was deleted.

He's everything you say he is plus a little more I suspect and yes it is indeed time we left all this corruption behind and left them to it, although hopefully it will all be cordial. I like the English as much as the Scots.

Aye, Subrosa. Westmidden fiddles whilst Broon burns, as some wag said the other day.

...and on that subject, I've been hearing from a very reliable source that yon prince of darkness, queer fella has been seen having deep and meaningful conversations with certain movers and shaker individuals from the other lot of Westmidden opportunists. So what's cooking?
Weel Broon fer wan thing but there's more to it. Not quite sure what yet but it certainly wasn't about the rumour of Broon moaning in pleasure at Mandy's recent back scratching of yer man, that's for sure.

There's good folk in the majority where ever, Subrosa. As for English folk and others settled there, we've mair in common than agin. The words of yon song,"Both sides the Tweed" about sums it up for myself. Besides, I was partnered and then married to a lovely English lassie, a "Coventry kid", born and bred. No,you'll not hear me slander decent English folk. Have they not got the same problems with Westmidden as we have? Time they reclaimed back Westmidden for themselves. Decent folk elsewhere have a better alternative option. Time they fully reclaimed their ain parliament too, for their ain needs and concerns to be addressed and dealt with in a way any self respecting folk of a nation state would desire and respect it for. With a consideration for their neighbours, Naturally.

Just watched a SKY news You Tube of Gordon in Normandy.

He took with him that TWAT of a NEW Defence Minister, you know the one that looks like the keyboard player in Sparks, the one that was cloned from fragments of hair and tissue left after Adolf shot himself and was cremated in his bunker.

Brown is seriously gone. How was this allowed to happen and why in the Labour Party not acting to remove him and salvage something at least?

Billygoat.
Read the last scary disclosure update. The EU-loving core of ZNL knows it needs to keep the show going till Lisbon is fully ratified. Then it is game over, really.

Tom I've decided it's Mandelson in the driving seat now. Taken me all day right enough and sorry to be so slow :)

Yes indeed, there are good and bad people everywhere. It does seem as if the English are finally waking up to the fact that their culture is vanishing fast so they may start a serious attempt at reclaiming Westminster for themselves and good for them.

Billy, I never noticed that little individual with him, perhaps I was too busy watching the body language.

Aye Brian and that's what UKIP have been saying. Thankfully it seems as if people are now listening.
