'I have the greatest respect for our Forces' - Gordon Brown

This afternoon there was a defence debate in the House of Commons.  The photograph is a still of the chamber during the debate.

Shows how much respect and interest there is for our troops doesn't it?

SR,

After a days strife on the Field Gun track I thought I'd come and be entertained and informed!

What a feckin loser - what respect? Happy to use us for illegal wars and interfering in other sovereign nations' national internal business!

He and Blair are war criminals and have sent many a young lad and lass to their deaths! And the hundreds of thousands of innocents that have been "collateral damage" - hated as is Hoon and all that follow.

Looking fwd to the results,

Saor Alba

Evening CD. Hope you had a successful day. Tiring all that fresh air I'm sure.

Aye disgusting none was present isn't it.

Oh I was told by a very good source that if Labour get less than 20% in the English council elections then it's curtains for them.

Well they certainly have a lot to announce in PMQs with their sympathy etc. when all eyes/cameras are on them.

Illegal wars alright, I'm still furious Bush and Blair got away with it!

Hasn't Cameron said he'd have a public enquiry about it CB? I may be wrong though.

subrosa,

It's Thursday afternoon and most MPs, with the exception of people like Dennis Skinner, will be in the bars ready to dash off for the weekend. In fact, most MP only attend the House around 14/15/16 days each month. Do they qualify for full expenses? Yes, they do.

I counted 6 too Spook and the same on the tory benches. These were the parties who voted to send our troops out to these wars as cannon fodder.
