Dissolution of House of Commons Debate

It is 16.09 and the nationalist debate for the Dissolution of the House of Commons has just begun.

The picture is one of the government benches right now. Obviously they're so confident that it will fall, the majority feel no need to attend.

How's that for arrogance?

SR,

We'll see what the outcome is, it's just another piece of the legacy that Liebour have built around themselves.

The Tories won't support it as they'll be caught out wanting for sure.

Cameron will be as ineffective as Brown, the only people concerned with the future of Scotland is the SNP and Greens.

I can wait until later this year for a GE, one thing's certain the SNP are here to stay and Labour will continue to be a Westmidden centric excuse of an opposition in Holyrood.

"Cameron will be as ineffective as Brown,"

This was said of Alex and he's been fantastic. Give us a break, God knows we need one.

They have treated this with disdane, as they treat parliament most of the time.

It would be funny though if enough of them missed the division bell and we ended up winning...

By the way... did you know that there's a by-election in Angus this month and that, at the last minute the Labour candidate had to withdraw, so it's Tory, Lib and SNP... however, according to the Courier, Labour has been distributing leaflets urging the public to vote for them...

Well duh. I know they are a bit disorganised and a tad thick but it takes a special kind of idiot to trail around the doors leafleting for a candidate that doesn't exist.

SR,

I agree with the arogance but since when was that a point that worried them.

Thing is its out there.
Bloggers pick it up.
Web picks it up

and every ex pat, every person who has the slightest interst in this wee island knows it was discussed.

But as previoulsy said and also by other, Gordon is that deluded he believes his own lies.

And as for a PLP backing, ......look no one will touch a westminster MP for a non exec board position right now so why would labour dump him, why would they challenge him, if he was ousted they would have to call a GE.
Who want to be the 28 day PM.

Not when they can belt up, ride the gravy train despite the retoric its all going to be sorted out, cleaned up, made transparent (unless you are Salim Malik), because you know your ass is grass in a years time.

But hey go on Nationalists at least be heard.

Aye, I watched it.

That tosser Hain was so, so up his ain @arse wae repeating the same old shite, it was unbelievable.

How many times did that cretin say "Tartan Tories", eh?
"They're wrecking attempts to reform the system," says 'it'.

This from a incompetent knunt who was caught with his fingers in the till.

Ah've had enough, ah'm bluidy angry. Ah've a week aff work and since ah've ither got or have access tae info on them knunts, ah'm gonna dae a wee bit of the researching an ah'll be asking favours of ither decent folk tae.
...and talking tae some folk of my aquaintance about this and that.

...and if ah dinna get a result wae fingering wan o them knunts then ah'm gonna fly a butchers apron frae ra chimney pot in penance whilst repeated singing yon verse o ra Brutishness national anthem.
Ye ken the verse ah'm on aboot.

them knunts are gonna pay for their arrogance.
Weel wan o them, onyways.

Ah'm normally harmless, me.
But when roused, ah'm a fecking wan man army and there's plenty a folk that wull testify to yon.

CD, a tory called Shepherd made the most superb speech in favour. I should think someone will put it on Utube.

Aye tris, I read that and was going to do a post on it. Now you've mentioned it I won't bother!

Mind you labour aren't really much is that area these days. Wasn't Monifieth area the beginning of the end for them in Angus?

subrosa said...

I should think you're right OB or they're out running up exorbitant travel expenses.

Yoo hoo brownlie :) It was interesting listening to the quality of the speeches. The libdem business manager chap, along with the chap Shepherd were superb. The quality of the labour speeches were worse than my public speaking and that's bad.

Angus Robertson spoke very well. Confident and knew his theme.

You got for it Tom but for gawd sake, dinnae fa' aff the roof sticking yer protest tae the chimney.

I'm so sorry SR.... I should have thought.... damn ...

What's up tris? Hey if it's about the leafletting from labour it's no problem. I may just do something to show how stupid these people really are (and how disorganised).

Or was it about my - ahem - hobbies? ;)

LOL... it was about me spoiling your article SR... I should have thought you might have a poke at how disorganised they were, and of course I should have realised you would have read the Courier....

Kind of you not to mind....

I shouldn't dream of commenting on your.... ahem.... hobbies....
