Thanks for your comment re a Mac/Safari - I've ended up taking back everything as far as I can and then re-installing. I no longer seem to have the patience for this sort of thing but I'm not giving up - well, not today at least!

Good for you, keep at it. I bought an imac about a year ago and I've never looked back (used to have them but they became too expensive). Even the presentation of the windows is so much better.

My patience just ran out.

Thanks subrosa, I think that makes three times(preen).
I thought Imac was something you removed hair with...?
Must ask Niko.

Thank you, yet again, for the link to Scunnert - I've based a post/links on it and h/t both of you.

I take it you're for an Independent Scotland? Personally, I'd rather we stick together - strength through unity and all that. Alex Salmond is still pro-EU so I'm not sure what the SNPs are looking for. If you've got time, I'd love to see a post from you on why the SNP wants to secede from the Union.

GV I shall see what I can do sometime this week. Conan could do one too, couldn't you Conan instead of sitting in front of the mirror puffing his chest out and muttering 'I'm cool, I'm the greatest'.

Forgot about Imac Conan, horrible smell it used to have, like rotten eggs and some.

Thanks for the plug Subrosa. Hopefully lots of people will read the article and get as angry as i am.

I liked aangirfan's article - what mugs the Scots have been!

sub rosa,

Good morning, just had a look at your Super Seven. Good choice but I note that super-sook Conan features again although I must say that his postings have improved since he persuaded Niko to be his script-writer. Plese don't encourage the old humbug just because he's been using black dye on his facial appendage! Let's hope he never shaves it off as young children may stray into the blogs.

PS: If I ever qualify for a fish supper can I have mine in the Seafood Restaurant in St Monans?

Sook?
What has an African bazaar got to do with anything, brownlie?
I was young once ye ken, with raven locks and a beard black as Niko's soul.
I even wore a bowler hat, though mine had a crow's wing tucked in it's band.
Jeez...I just admitted that...

Conan, you must dig out an old photo of you in yer hat, doctor it up a bit on photoshop and put it on your blog. We all need a laugh a day :)

Brownlie, I painstakingly choose my seven every week and thought you understood that :) No favouritism on this blog I assure you. The reason Conan was there this week is because he portrayed me as someone my alter ego may have enjoyed.

If you're going to the fish restaurant at St Monans I'm coming with you! I'll pay my way.

Conan,

Lol, so being voted by subrosa was not the only feather in your cap.

I meant to ask you - do wee free ministers use your "reference" library?

subrosa,

he's put you in a very compromising positions and white stockings and you still vote for him??

okay, I admit it, I've been working all morning and I'm bored.

It was on impulse from my alter ego Brownlie. I understand how you feel, I've been working this morning too but it's been quite enjoyable. In between times I manage to nip in here and have a wee laugh :)

Have to admit though Brownlie, it wasn't a very elegant kidnap was it. I would never get in a car like that. Bum in first then both legs together is what I was taught at the Dundee School for Ladies of the Future.
