Update: "With ironic understatement, a Downing Street spokesman yesterday left little doubt that the remarks had caused some irritation in No 10. He said: "The Elysee have been in contact this morning to assure us that these remarks were not meant as a critique of UK economic policy - which is nice." Sunday Herald

GORDON Brown is not wearing his sunniest smile today.
Shut it, Sarko
And it’s not just motormouth Jeremy Clarkson who has got the PM in a grump.
Mr Brown has much bigger things to worry about — an insulting lecture on his running of the economy from French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
In an anti-Brown rant that put Clarkson’s outburst in the shade, Mr Sarkozy blasted the Prime Minister’s recession rescue package, saying it was a mistake the French would not be copying.
True, Mr Brown has yet to convince Britain that his medicine is working.
And despite his protests, he cannot escape some of the blame for getting us into this mess.
But who is Mr Sarkozy, a fanatical supporter of a federal Europe, to be giving us advice?
He heads a nation notorious for its rigid working hours, inflexible attitude to reform and bloated government.
France is torn with industrial unrest. Unions have held a one-day general strike and there have been clashes in Paris.
When Mr Sarkozy has put his own house in order, we'll be more inclined to listen to him.
Until then, Sarko should put a sock in it

It's a power struggle niko. None of them knows what to do about this mess because they've brought it on themselves with greed and more greed dominating.
The video just tickled me, witty person who put it together :)
