Cute, Curvy, Cathy (just for you Brownlie)

Tackling Anti Social Behaviour

Following a spate of vandalism and fireraising in Drongan, Cathy meets with local shopkeepers to discuss action

The above picture and caption was taken from Cathy Jamieson's website.  I hope she doesn't mind me saying it doesn't do her justice.   It doesn't do the local shopkeepers justice either but then, perhaps the caption writer meant to write, 'Cathy later met local shopkeepers...'.

What it does show is the result of 50 years of labour in Scotland.

We all have 'off' days Cathy but most would hesitate to put poor photographs on their website.  I'm not being negative and do hope you accept my comment as constructive criticism.

Subrosa,

Actually Cathy has not changed a bit since the Glasgow Art School despite carrying the Labour Party in Scotland single handed and having to share Christmas cards with Lord Foulkes - a heavy burden indeed. No wonder she looks frazzled as she'd just had to cook Jackie's breakfast.

Her heart's in the right place although she in the wrong party but that's something I'll have to work on!!

How's your twittering? I've tried to catch you twice but, as usual, you were unavailable. lol!!

I'd have been kinder if I'd known you've held a candle for her for all these years!

She wasn't a bad Justice minister but, being part of the controlling den of iniquity called Scottish labour, she has little chance of showing her skills at present.

My twittering's fine and my twit has sent you an email (I think). Aren't we the forerunners of technology? And we're both over 21!

If George Foulkes can twitter anyone can!

subrosa,

Damn, it's obvious from your last sentence that you know who I really am!!!

Brownlie (or George if you prefer)

I have to admit I've seen little of your artistic talent during your career. Other talents yes (although not to my taste) so up your game and let's see the Van Gough in you!

subrosa,

I think I'd rather be Thatcher than George which illustrates how much regard I hold him in?

The picture with Cathy and deprivation is typical of failed labour polices. Comrade Broon will add more people onto Labours scrap heap and blame it on American estate agents.

Brownlie, I've said before I respected Maggie in some ways, but many women of my generation would say that (or certainly think it).

Up until a few years ago I respected Gordon Brown, although I in no way supported him, because I thought he was someone who was truly interested in improving the lives of everyone in the country.

Well one out of two isn't bad is it? 50% success!

I'm quite unsure about your opinion of Thatcher but the tone of your comment implies it's not above 'average' in a graph.

As I'm in bon homie mode, perhaps we should thank George for the entertainment he provides both in the Parliament and our media. Than again perhaps not.

She says she's very sorry, and promises to keep aff the Buckie and stop hingin aroond wi Mike Watson.

subrosa said...

I didnae ken she wus a pal o' his. When I saw the photo and caption I felt really sorry for the shopkeepers.

Would you like tae think yer MSP thought ye were a pile o' garbage Conan? She might think it, but tae write that oan her ain website... nae finesse. Do they do finesse in Drongan, I've never been.

Finesse in Drongen?

Sounds like a German village.

Scunnert

There is nothing wrong with a well-skelped erse as my Uncle Dorothy used to say.

Subrosa

It wasn't a torch but your getting warmer!

Conan

Cathy would wipe the flare(!) with Mike Watson. Did you like your new job title?

subrosa said...

Thank you niko, I was impressed by the theme but the melody was erm...like hauling my fingers down the cheese grater.

Bit out of date too now, we're well over £1 trillion in debt according to the FT.

subrosa said...

Not a torch but getting warmer? So something that shows light but maybe not direct light? The sun? The moon?

I need the help of the bibliothekar here. There's a new title for you Conan - make you a perfect European too.

Cathy has that pic on her website ? Great advert for 50 years of mismanagement and neglect by her labour party.

The more prosperous Scotland becomes the less people will vote for Labour, just have to look at the demographics in most of their constituencies

subrosa said...

She does indeed Spook and that exact caption goes with it. Poor woman - thinking that would look good on her website. Think it needs a good makeover as well as herself.

Labour and the libdems haven't really got the gist of the internet yet have they? The tories don't do badly in England (no effort here at all) and we're doing quite well now. The more the merrier to promote a Scotland which is able to take full control and responsibility of our affairs.

brownlie said...

subrosa,

Perhaps you and the Spook would prefer your politicians to spend loads of money on make-overs and get dressed in designer clothes to lord it over the peasants in one of the most deprived areas of Scotland.

Come to think of it, you're probably quite correct as Saint Francis of Assisi's disciple Mrs Thatcher was always smartly dressed and familiar with hair-stylists.

I used to say I was a bibliophile.

I wouldn't dare now...

subrosa said...

Oh dear brownlie, not sleep well?

I have to admit, our politicians are paid far more than the average person, so I expect them to be on the ball regarding being well groomed. It shows a certain respect for your customers.

Call me old-fashioned...

subrosa said...

Can well understand Conan, that's why I decided the Germanic word was more appropriate.

Would confuse most of your local councillors anyway!

brownlie said...

subrosa,

I would not dream of calling you "old fashioned" on the pots/kettle principle.

You must realise that Cathy only received around £10,000 for her leadership campaign and you cannot buy designer clothes on a pittance like that!

The Labour party having respect for their customers - them days are gone, girl!!

subrosa said...

Brownlie, some women could look better than Maggie Thatcher, run round the country campaigning and still manage to fit in a few days at Stobo Castle with that amount of money.

Obviously these arty types, like Cathy, have limited budgeting skills. Didn't I hear somewhere that Andy Kerr is arty too? I only ask because he's another of the labour party with little knowledge of finance.

That picture is a disgrace. Theres a big pile of shite in it and look at the rubbish lying about behind it!
