Thanks for the link Rosie.

There have been some brilliant comments.

It isn't a straightforward question, is it?

CR.

My pleasure Ranty. I haven't read the comments today but will do. One of yours kind of narked me but I'll explain why at your place.

CR certainly likes a rant and as to some of the comments all one can say it's a funny bubble they live in.

This reminds me of the sugar cereal variety packs they sell at the grocery store. I like to mix and match.

'Coco Pops' or 'Frosties' as they are 'GREAT' if memory is correct.

He does CH. We must remember no bubble is exactly the same.

Auch Rate of Dissent, it's just some posts that made me think, or made me mad or made me smile. I don't necessarily agree with any opinion.

You're showing your age now CH.

Thank you for the mention SR :-)

I'm sorry I got the link incorrect initially Richard. Just noticed a couple of hours ago but it's now been corrected.

A good post QM, as ever.

No worries, and thank you for taking the trouble.

Subrosa, I didn't mean to imply that you agreed or disagreed with the opinions, I just thought of cereal variety packs for some reason. What does "auch" mean? (you typed it before Rate of Dissent in the response post). Is that German for "also"?

Auch (sometimes spelt och) is a Scots word Rate of Dissent. The nearest English equivalent I can think of is 'oh'.

The German word is quite different as you know and pronounced owch - the ow as in owl. Does that explain it?

It does, thank you!
