But I have just had the most dreadful thought … I will confess that I purchase the majority of my wines from a supplier in Stevenage. If at a future date Scotland should gain independence – will my supplies be impounded at the border – will they be subject to some form of import tax – will I hear the knock of the excise man beating at my door?
Auch JRB, I don't see any problem with you not receiving your tipple. It will be the responsibility of the wine merchant to complete the export forms. :)
