Danny Boy



Greetings to the Irish on St Patrick's Day. The video is from one of my father's favourite programmes and his birthday was 17 March.

That's two reasons to open a gift of special reserve sherry later.

    Christmas 1940, we were all in the air raid shelter. Uncle had been at the whisky. After the 14th rendering of Danny Boy we all decided to take our chance with the Luftwaffe and go back in the house to leave him to it.
