Another British soldier, from the 2nd Battalion The Mercian Regiment, has been killed in Afghanistan. The fatality on Saturday takes the UK death toll since 2001 to 196 killed in action.
ForcesTwitter have a page, entitled Rest in Peace, listing all the fallen. May his family and friends find the grief becomes bearable in time.
SR,
ReplyDeleteOne of my dear freinds has to inform the family. Not good.
Vote Labour get death.
Crazy Daisy
Thanks for that SR. I've nicked the twitter address for my blog. Big hat tip of course.

ReplyDeleteAs pictures of our multi- milionaire Lord Prime Minister are blazoned across the press, showing him surrounded by bilionaire purchasers of his wicked soul, riots kick off big time in Brum, soldiers continue to die almost daily and our bankruptcy of morality and finance continues apace. A very long 207 days lie ahead.
ReplyDeleteGreat WW, the more people who know about it the better. As useful link at the end of every post about Afghanistan I think.
ReplyDeleteSadly the increase in one is much faster than the decrease in the other. I hate to wish time by but I so hope the election night will set us all free!
