Surely there are other occasions when that would be helpful to Londoners. How often will it happen? Every night?<br /><br />To have an extra £250 a week on top of a good salary just in case one, or a few, drivers have to work later than their usual shifts until 1.30am seems excessive. But then I'm a pensioner and £250 a week is a fair amount of money.<br /><br />Others will jump on the bandwagon now. There's no doubt about it.
