@Joe Oooooh – ouch!!! Would Wagner’s ‘The Ring’ not be a bit cruel on the poor chap – it lasts for about 15hours. Certainly brings a tear to my eye. :)
It does and it's tedious JRB. I remember when working in Germany I saw the record album going cheap in a shop (records were much cheaper in Germany in those days). My mother was very into 'highbrow' music at the time and had bought a new stereo system so I bought it for her.
Doubt if she ever played it past the first ten minutes.
