Sound Diffusers
As it's such a lovely day I had a leisurely breakfast while the sun shone through the window and I listened to one of my favourite sounds. Then I thought it would be interesting to see which sounds made you smile. It wasn't so easy to prioritise. Give it a go and see if even thinking about it lifts your spirits for a few minutes. It did mine.
1. A baby laughing
2. Birdsong
3. Certain music
4. The glug glug of a good wine being poured
5. Silence
The favourite sound your ears danced to over breakfast this lovely spring morn ... was the spouting glug of quality plonk? I do hope so!

3.The noise four dogs make when they hear you coming through the front door.
4.The creaks and squeaks of my old leather bike jacket.

I'd add waves on the shore, or the trickling water of a small stream....
ReplyDeleteFunnily enough that worked! lol I also love the sound of a babbling brook (and just to diversify a bit - I adore the smell of freshly cut grass!) ;-)

ReplyDeleteOh no Lallands, daytime drinking isn't my thing. It was the chorus of birdsong over breakfast.

ReplyDeleteI have to confess I did have the sound of a lightly flowing river as number 4, then I though how often I actually hear that, so replaced it with the sound of wine. Now what does that say about me? No replies please :)

ReplyDeleteThere's so much to choose from SR but I like the laughter & shrieks of young children running around in the school-yard and the sound of a lawn being mown (even if I'm the one doing the mowing!)

ReplyDeleteI went tae Drumndrookit in 2007 and wis drookit. Last year I spent £400 flying up tae Edinburgh for their gig in the castle esplanade - the seats were crabbit and crampit. Then late last year I drove over tae Brizzol to see them in the Colston Hall - great nite.
Scone disne fill me wi joy efter whit I wis subjected tae in Loch Ness, although the location is amongst the most scenic and poigniant in Scotia!
So I'll be waitin tae flee up tae Glesga fur the Barras gig, if they hiv wan this year! Or mibbe Dundee, plenty o'chums in the City of Discovery!
